THE PASSION FOR PIZZA

Welcome, I am Massimo Tolve, Pizza chef at Pizza Pomodoro.

 

I come from Naples where pizza is in art form and I am proud to be able to offer you a selection of great Italian pizzas, cooked with fresh ingredients, on homemade pizza dough and baked the traditional way.

Pizza Pomodoro is a family run pizzeria since september 2000.

Pizza Pomodoro is a family run pizzeria since september 2000.

At Pizza Pomodoro we pride ourselves on delivering to you the “original” pizza experience. Neapolitan Style Pizza.

The dough must be soft & pliable with a moist centre and a “cornicione” (Crust) that is light and fluffy and should be folded when you eat it.

Our pizza is cooked in a Wood Fired Oven for 60 to 90 seconds at 400-450 degrees.

Apart from the classic Italian pizzas, Pizza Pomodoro takes pride in creating and producing unique and original creations which have been named accordingly.

 

Pizza Pomodoro is not affiliated with any other pizzeria in Wellington or New Zealand.
